Dr Eric Mariotte graduated in internal medicine in 2009 and in intensive care medicine in 2011. He has been studying thrombotic microangiopathies since 2007, starting with a master in Hemostasis and Vascular biology at Paris XI university and U770-INSERM with Pr Agnès Veyradier. He has since published several articles on the epidemiology, diagnosis and management of severe thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Since 2014 he is working at the intensive care unit of Saint Louis university hospital in Paris, a constitutional center of the Thrombotic MicroAngiopathies French National Reference Center, managing over 15 new cases of TTP per year.
